Introduction

Nanamacs Boutique struggled with a complex, inefficient live-stream shopping process that created excessive overhead. Their existing setup lacked seamless integration, leading to workflow disruptions. To streamline operations, stakeholders sought a custom platform to reduce manual effort and optimize live selling.

Managing live sales required excessive manual effort, increasing costs and slowing operations. The existing system was cumbersome, difficult to scale, and lacked smooth task handoffs. A custom solution was needed to automate key tasks, improve collaboration, and enhance overall efficiency.

Extensive UX research guided development. Stakeholder interviews clarified business goals, onsite research uncovered workflow pain points, and user interviews shaped personas. Market research analyzed competitor platforms to identify industry challenges and opportunities.

Research revealed revenue loss due to inefficient workflows and rigid processes. Live stream managers were overwhelmed with repetitive tasks, many of which could be automated. Poor task handoffs led to lost work, and limited real-time flexibility hindered sales. The design phase focused on automation, seamless task delegation, and a more adaptable selling experience.

An iterative design process translated research into practical solutions. Information architecture structured data flow between system epics, enhancing efficiency. Intuitive UI components improved usability, while stakeholder collaboration refined wireframes. This two-year project challenged me to grow as the sole product owner, expanding my UX expertise. I learned to balance familiarity and innovation—ensuring a strong foundation of expected design patterns while strategically introducing new elements. This approach improved usability, enhanced user adoption, and reinforced my ability to create intuitive, high-impact digital products while also allowing space for innovation.
